An administrative office, operations center, and employee change facility with design requirements as described in the “Federal Leadership in High Performance and Sustainable Buildings – Memorandum of Understanding.” The surrounding World War II-era facilities area registered historical zone requiring an aesthetic representation of other buildings at the 70-year-old facility. The “Department of Defense-Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings” added another dimension to the complexity of the project.
