Shortly after the founding of GRC, CainRashWest Architects (CRW) was established as a professional corporation in 1988 providing architectural and planning services for individual clients. Under the umbrella of GRC, CainRashWest Architects serves the East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia region.

The firm’s architects are supported by intern architects, CAD designers, interior designer, and a full-time construction administrator. The team also includes an in-house civil engineer with a versatile and necessary role for project support as well as individual projects. CainRashWest has successfully designed various building types including educational facilities, retail centers, restaurants, hospitality, ecclesiastical, corporate, and medical facilities.  

CRW is a member in good standing with the American Institute of Architects, which provides the resources and tools needed to keep up to date with cutting-edge information. This enhances our architectural practice, and in turn, makes our team more knowledgeable and valuable to you. 

CRW uses in-house renderings, models, 3-D walk-through, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other computer-aided simulations to bring design ideas to life before construction begins. These opportunities allow you to customize and fine- tune your project when it is least expensive to do so. In addition, we provide interior design services that enhance your project,giving a remarkable accent to our client’s personal expression.
