What started as a big “what if?” from the local Cattlemen’s Association grew into a region defi ning project for the local agricultural community. Built in multiple phases due to funding availability, the Ron Ramsey Regional Ag Center is a 12,750 SF multi-use facility that provides offiice space for the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture and Tennessee State University College of Agriculture Extension Offices. The main facility also includes a teaching kitchen, large meeting room, and commercial catering kitchen. Behind the main facility is a covered livestock arena which was a part of the original structure on site. This building has been structurally reinforced to meet modern standards and provides a large area for livestock events and competitions.
